I have a very nice design for a $2 BOM hardware calibrator; I offered
it to Xrite a few years ago they turned it down with a sniffy upturned
nose, I manufactured a few prototypes (Euro 60 each, handmade), and
wrote some hardware drivers on the Mac myself. I could be persuaded to
open source the whole thing.
