Just two colour management systems placing similiar hooks are enough to
make chaos. The GCM author suggested that. The result would be a undefined
print pipeline. This hook has no advantage for other CMSs.
IMO the best is to remove this hook ASAP.
Work on a truly shareable access to colour settings was outlined in
previous threads here on list.
