That's probably good enough. The main things I wanted out of this was a)
we can update the system partially; and b) we convey to the user that
some packages can't be updated.
And if a user really wants a security update and is willing to remove
other packages to achieve this he's probably smart enough to use
pk-application or the native command line package manager to do so.
(I agree with you that most users probably won't care; they just wait
for Livna or whatever to be updated...)
