Hello Richard,

in your FosDem talk you mentioned the problem of receiving crash reports
from crashed daemons. I would like to point you to the work of Martin
Pitti: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport

It is an automatic crash reporting infrastructure.

It even allows to include binary specific information retrieval scripts,
e.g. crash reports from the apt backend could also include the number of
broken packages in the cache.
