[packagekit] Res: KPackageKit and Shaman working together?

Thanks for clarifying the goals of the two projects and how they relate. Regarding Shaman's goal of supporting every backend natively -- if that becomes true, then there might be no need to support PackageKit anymore, since PackageKit itself is only a simplified abstraction layer on top of the native backend.
