Applied, thanks. We really need a man page explaining pkgenpack and
definitely need to change gnome-packagekit to launch
gpk-install-local-file for the .pack mimetype. You'll need to create a
file like data/packagekit-catalog.xml.in in PackageKit and modify
data/gpk-install-file.desktop.in in gnome-packagekit. Yell if you get
stuck.
