In some backends, like yum, that use comps, there are keys as to whether
or not the group should be visible to the user or not, and there are
categories so that the group list doesn't get unwieldy.  All the
language groups go into a language category, desktop environments in a
DE category, etc, etc.  Seems to work well from a UI perspective.  A
flat level group list just gets to be... noisy.
