Added means new in the repository here: Which packages have been
introduced in the repository since the last refresh or a given time.

Actually this is not a feature of apt. This was implemented in both
tools synaptic and aptitude separatly. I would like to avoid having a
third database/implementation in the packagekit backend. But perhaps
this feature will be moved to apt.
