[packagekit] Forcing GIO?

I'm thinking of removing a few #ifdef's and a couple of files by
depending on GIO, rather than having it as an optional dep. Not many
distros haven't packaged GIO now, and it's even available for stuff like
OLPC. If you compile without gio, PackageKit is completely untested by
me, and for that reason alone it doesn't seem a good idea to keep the
optional dep.

Would this be a problem for any of you embedded or low resources people?
