[packagekit] How to update via dbus-send

I want to run the graphical PackageKit updater for whatever user is currently logged in, and the dbus method seems more ideal than hijacking a user's session by grabbing environmental variables out of his or her gnome-session PID, but I can't seem to find much information about doing this in a recent version of PackageKit

Here's what I want to run:
dbus-send --print-reply --system --dest=org.freedesktop.PackageKit --type=method_call /org/freedesktop/PackageKit.Transaction org.freedesktop.PackageKit.Transaction.UpdateSystem string:basename

Does anyone on the list have some ideas on how to accomplish that?
