[packagekit] Internal error, packages left unconfigured

Hi,

I was building a custom software updater using libpackagekit.
So far everything works as expected and updates run smooth. 
In some cases however I'm getting an error message during 
package update (using pk_client_update_packages_async ()):

Internal error, packages left unconfigured

which seems to be an error message coming from the underlying apt
packagemanager. 

What would be the best way to handle such error?
