Looking at the function you use, I think you can lower the requirements 
to 4.3.

I'm not quite sure why you need that #ifdef.
If GL_ARB_post_depth_coverage isn't defined, this shader will be empty 
(no main function), so I guess it will probably fail to compile or link.
And since you're testing whether the whole program works, if any of it 
doesn't work the whole test should just fail.
