I basically gave up with this test. But after your question, I took a
last look and I remembered that TEXTURE_BUFFER and formats like XX_SNORM
are not compatible. So I think that this can be solved with an
additional check when texture_buffer are used.

I confused too, and I was part of the writing of the query2
implementation and tests.
