[Pipewire-devel] Pipewire => Jack (backend)

Hey pipewire devs and users.

Recently, I've begun to experiment/test Pipewire on my linux machine. I'm a
heavy Jack user, so naturally, i've wanted to test PW to see how it handled
Jack applications. I had mixed results - some apps running exceptionally
well, while with others, i did experience some instability / additional
xruns, etc.

So i've decided for now that I would like to continue to use Jack, but
hopefully, use pipewire to replace pulseaudio and alsa support. Ideally, i
would like PW to work similar to the pulseaudio-jack plugin, where PW would
create a device and output to Jack... However, it is unclear to me how to
do this, so I'm looking for guidance on how to set this up properly...

The goal here is to have a working PW=>Jack setup, so that I'm not giving
up any productivity and/or having to deal with any glitches or instability
(from jack clients running on PW). Once i have this in place, I will go
back and try to debug the issues I did hit with using a pure PW setup.

thanks, Jordan
