Here are the MMX benchmark results from an OLPC XO-1 laptop. MMX is
not a *lot* faster than the standard paths. Where it is a lot faster,
we don't actually have fast paths which probably skews the results.
pshufw doesn't make a huge difference, but it is a performance improvement.
I'll also run some benchmarks with iwMMXt on the XO 1.75.

== Summary ==
MMX is mostly faster than no MMX. It shaves 5 minutes off a lowlevel-blit-bench
run (1:18 -> 1:13). It should be noted that fast paths do not exist for any
functions where MMX is much faster (see above).
Using the pshufw instruction provides meaningful speed ups in over_n_8_8888
(29 -> 36 Kops/s) and over_8888_n_8888 (36 -> 41 Kops/s). The rest of the
performance differences are indistinguishable from noise. pshufw does cut an
additional 4 minutes off the time to run lowlevel-blt-bench (1:13 -> 1:09).
