[Pixman] Help for simple image scaling: example code?

Hello all!
I have a 1024x768 raw data image. Each pixel is a 32bit integer 0x00rrggbb. I'd like to resize the image to 1024x600.  I think it's not a difficult task, but I've found no documentation, and no other solution than dig into the library source code. Can someone write down for me some example code, just to speed up my task?
