Hi, I'm trying to install pkg-config but terminal get me this error:

LuKe:/Users/luke/Desktop/pkg-config LuKe$ sh configure.in
configure.in: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token `pkg-config.1'
configure.in: line 2: `AC_INIT(pkg-config.1)'

Could you help me about it?
