| Even in the world of glib1, 1.2.8 is old. I don't think the newest one
| in that series (1.2.10) fixes this particular issue, but may as well
| upgrade in order to get whatever other bugfixes and improvements in
| the onboard glib.

It's in the pipeline.  I've so far been happy to take patches for glib
as long as they are small and contained enough.
