Hi Tollef, Could you have a look at bug 4738? https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4738 I added a couple patches which are simple and seem to solve the problem. Do you see any problem with the idea that Requires* are only processed when the user calls pkg-config with certain flags? -- Dan
