Well, I posted it here with the hopes that it would be applied to the
bzr repo. If that's not possible I could version control it, but it
would be in git, so I hope that's not a problem. :)

Yeah, I just meant that I would only support the move if the HTML
output was in the tarball. I have very little interest in
pkg-config.info.
So, if you'd like to convert it to texinfo, go for it. However, I
would hope to hear from Tollef before making any major changes. My
principle desire would be to have this shipped with pkg-config rather
than living out in the wild.
