gtk error

i was trying to do program that will display GtkWidget window,
program was get compiled sucessfully but when i am trying to run the program
it will show me followin error what should i do.


Xlib: connection to "0:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

(gtk1:8237): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display
