Hiya Ray,
Hope you have had nice holidays so far?
Here are the (quite minor really) plymouth patches I had kicking around
and mentioned on IRC a week or two ago:
http://colin.guthr.ie/git/plymouth/log/?h=mga
You can add that repo as a remote easily via git://colin.guthr.ie/plymouth
My changes are on the "mga" branch (For Mageia)
The three fixes by Per Øyvind Karlsen are quite old ones added for ulibc
compatibility. I haven't tested them recently but they all seem quite
minor and harmless for normal builds. I'm not super bothered about them
personally, so feel free to take them or leave them.
The two by me are semi-obvious. One is a fix for a command line parsing
bug, and the other is just to support "splash=silent" kernel command
line syntax that we have traditionally used. I'm not fussed if you don't
want to take that one upstream as it's easy enough to carry locally and
hopefully I can find another way to migrate the syntax away anyway.
All the best
Col
