Plymouth on a ramdisk only system

Hi all,

i have an embedded system which runs completely from a ramdisk.

The specs are:

- AMD G-T56N processor
- 4 GB of RAM
- Based on Debian 7.6 (minimal live usb drive built with debirf with
some modifications)

Since i naturally have to create my own initrd in this setup my question
is: how can i integrate Plymouth in such a system (no update-initramfs
-u possible)? Is it possible at all?
