plymouth system-update

Hello everybody

I try this command

   plymouth system-update --progress=0.8

with this script

.......

fun progress_callback(duration, progress)
{
  Debug("Progress Callback duration="+duration+" progress="+progress);
}
Plymouth.SetSystemUpdateFunction(progress_callback);

......

Debug() function write the text on the screen. All script run ok but this
don't work.

What I do wrong?

The distro is a Kubuntu trusty

apt-cache show plymouth say

Version: 0.8.8-0ubuntu17.1
