I have always used the following command to preview the installed plymouth themes,</div><div><br></div><div>sudo plymouthd ; sudo plymouth --show-splash ; for ((I=0; I<10; I++)); do sleep 1 ; sudo plymouth --update=test$I ; done ; sudo plymouth --quit</div><div><br></div><div>As of now, the command is only showing me the ubuntu-text theme, irrespective of the applied theme. I am using "sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth" to change theme and "sudo update-initramfs -u<br></div><div>" to apply them.</div><div><br></div><div>For a test, I have removed the package plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text, but now the preview is stuck on ubuntu-logo theme, which again is the bottom most in the list shown in "sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth".</div><div><br></div><div>How to fix the issue?<br></div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>Prateek<br></div></div></div></div></div>
