Hello everyone,
It is a pleasure for me to announce that a new version of polkit has been
released.
This version is packed with many new features and modern technologies. Many
thanks to everyone involved and/or responsible!
Concurrently, it is also the best time and place to announce that polkit
upstream project has migrated to a new repository, now hosted on
GitHub.com.
There are many reasons for such a step, some of which are:
- wider options concerning the CI/CD infrastructure
- easier access for contributors who have an account on GitHub
- wider selection of apps available for GitHub repositories
All work like issues and commits have already been migrated. Merge requests
are to be migrated ASAP as well.
Thank you for staying with polkit and for all the future contributions to
the next release!
Jan Rybar & the polkit team
