Summary: Doesn't render some pages printed with mozilla (Firefox)
Product: poppler
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: general
AssignedTo: poppler-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: gpoo at ubiobio.cl
This bus was originally reported in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319069.
Some pages that has been printed to a file using Mozilla (Firefox) doesn't show
any text (converted using ps2pdf).
Some commons messages in gnome-terminal are:
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-vFBSEP/vVyXeoVi6rHnAUgxHiI0='
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-+kdkoy9YFPx+axsO0XAgEM6p7ig='
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-uJOFgw2RH9mw9FZPOHZvsS5hNBY='
Error: Unknown font tag 'R36'
Error (3009): No font in show
Neither the original PS is rendered ok.
If I use xpdf gives almost the same errors, but giving a very little more
infomation:
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-vFBSEP/vVyXeoVi6rHnAUgxHiI0='
Error: Missing or invalid Encoding entry in Type 0 font
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-+kdkoy9YFPx+axsO0XAgEM6p7ig='
Error: Missing or invalid Encoding entry in Type 0 font
Error: Unknown character collection 'mozilla_printout-uJOFgw2RH9mw9FZPOHZvsS5hNBY='
Error: Missing or invalid Encoding entry in Type 0 font
Probably the "enconding" is causing some problems to get the render done.
The file is shown fine in Acrobat Reader.
It happens with poppler 0.4.x and 0.5.1
