Hello, I am the guy who is trying to build a poppler outputdev for structured
XML as part of his SoC project. I sent a mail to the mailing list asking if any
patches I would make for poppler would be included, given the route I'm
following but the only part of that mail that was replied to was the P.S. part.
I noticed that the mailinglist isn't really heavy traffic, nor is irc, so I
figured that the main communication method for poppler might be bugzilla. Hence
the bug report :) When I am making patches bugzilla would be a nice way of
keeping track of them anyway.
My main plan is already detailed in the mail (
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler/2006-July/002024.html ) Please let
me know if you agree with it, or if anything needs changing.
If you think I'm being a bit aggressive in communication (using both the mailing
list and bugzilla for example) please let me know as well. I'm quite new to the
active open-source contribution scene and I'm not yet entirely familiar with
it's etiquette.
