I can reproduce your problem on Fedora 7 with evince 0.8.2 (using poppler 0.5.4
(cairo)). However I tested with evince 2.20.2 (using poppler 0.6.2 (cairo)) on
Fedora 8, and it worked fine. It also worked fine using the Qt4 test tools with
top-of-tree git version.

Please re-open if you can reproduce this with 0.6.2 (or later) versions of
poppler.
