patch to detect frameworks

this patch should fix the detection of frameworks on OSX

technically the qt4 test should be changed to use qmake, since QTDIR-style
detection is now discouraged.  (ie, "qmake -query QT_VERSION", "qmake -query
QT_INSTALL_LIBS", etc.) but this at least makes it work  :)
