Splash vs Cairo-LCD

However, this proposal isn't just about Splash backend vs Cairo backend.  I'm
sure we all must agree that Cairo with subpixel-rendering is easier to read
that plain Splash.

Splash at the top; Cairo w/ Subpixel rendering at the bottom.
