According to the releasenotes for poppler-0.11 this is fixed:

glib:
         * Optional content support
         * More work on Annotations support
         * Improvements to the demo
         * Documentation improvements
         * Fix build when compiling with GTK_DISABLE_SINGLE_INCLUDES
