This applies to Poppler 0.12 and I think 0.13 too, but I'm not completely sure.
Poppler 0.12 loads all pages when the PDF document is constructed. So (in many
cases) it needs to read trough the whole file making large PDFs loaded from
network streams very slow. Please fix this so each page is loaded only when it
is actually needed. This feature will make possible to add smart logic in the
application for loading network files quickly by caching just few pages ahead.
