If it may be of interest, since 0.13 there's a new frontend called 'cpp', which
is modelled in a similar way than the existing qt/qt4/glib, but using only C++
(with the additional dependency of the iconv library, if not present in the std
C library).
At the moment is quite limited (just query to document, page, font, TOC, and
embedded files), hopefully will get more in the future.
