CUPS (www.cups.org) uses a wrapper around the pdftops utility from poppler in
order to handle PDF documents.  Previously, a private fork of xpdf had been
used, with some additions to make it behave more usefully as a CUPS filter.

It would be really useful if pdftops could be enhanced in the following ways:

* pdftops could be instructed to always produce portrait PostScript documents,
rotating the input pages as needed

* correct BoundingBox DSC comments for each page in the output

* an additional comment 'cupsRotation: 0' added indicating that no further
rotation of the document is required
