level1sep output of bug-poppler27482.pdf by pdftops-0.14.5
This image shows what happens using -level1sep without rasterization. I used
pdftops-0.14.5 provided by Fedora 14 in /usr/bin. The white text in the green
bar at the top of the image is unreadable. The black shadow behind the letters
uses a color mask. Since pdftops does not implement color masks, the black
shadow shows as a white box and merges with the letters.
