Yes, I can provide a patch in a few days. I think that I have it working, but I
started with a version that has some of my unaccepted patches and I need to
redo the changes against an unpatched version.

Is it OK if I scan the bitmap to check if C=M=Y in every pixel and then write a
DeviceGray bitmap instead?
