I thought that you already had a long regression test that you ran before
committing patches.
I have about a dozen files (from bugs that I reported) that I run through
pdftops with various options.  I check the ps visually with gs, and I diff the
ps with the previous version. It takes about 3 or 4 minutes.  A better test
would be rasterizing the ps with gs and comparing the bitmaps, but that takes
much longer and can find differences that aren't problems.
