poppler git master; reproducible in gtk (cairo) and qt4 (splash, and arthur
backends), so probably a core issue.

Go to page 10, and observe e.g. the last entry in the 2nd row of the table
("TC-2121"). It's a garbage image instead of the expected image of a glyph. 
Same happens for lots more images on this and other pages.

The document renders fine in acroread.
