FWIW they are not in an infinite loop, it just takes *a lot* of time. 

Just to render the first page test-poppler-qt4 is calling
GfxICCBaseColorSpace::getRGB 1.6 million times, no wonder it's slow :D

Thomas, do you think you could have a look at why that's happening?
