I had a first quick look at it and extracts the problematic portion, and I fear
there is nothing we can do: The boxes have a hatching with lot of thin lines,
but not painted with lines:

This blurs to a black square. But if You zoom it to 350% and more in okular,
You begin to see the thin lines.
