Not something that I can test, unfortunately.  We noticed the issue in other
software (DiffPDF).  While I was able to determine where the issue was,
compiling this software myself with a different version of Poppler is not
something I'm capable of doing.
I believe the newer versions of the software now use a different engine, so for
me this issue is no longer impacting us.
