Opening a specific PDF in evince results in a weird font rendering or
substitution for random characters making it completely unreadable. In MuPDF it
renders correctly. I didn't try other engines.

I'd like to provide the PDF, but I don't want to upload it publicly. Could
those interested just respond to this issue and I'll send the PDF directly to
your emails. Thank you for understanding.
