<pre>If you test the cpp frontend with these patches, you may run into problems

modified pdf produced by poppler you may notice that it produces 2 trailer
dicts (and 2 metadata objects if you modify it). This bug is not related. Its
source is somewhere in saveIncrementalUpdate(). I'm going to investigate it
further, but I don't think it should be a blocker for these patches.</pre>
