I don't really see a need of getSignedRangeBounds supporting broken documents,
i think we should enforce the "it has to be 4 numbers" at that level and not
check it on the callers (it seems you do it at least in 3 different places).
Also i think it's better if you save yourself some trouble and make
getSignedRangeBounds return a std::list<Goffset>, we don't use std:: stuff much
but in this case using a GooList is making your life harder for no reason.</pre>
