Hi,

since a poppler update this week to the current version in Debian Jessie all
pages of a PDF document aren't rendered anymore, but shown as blank page. This
is the case for certain documents where the pages consist of pictures. E.g.
older scientific publications are often provided as searchable scans by the
journals (e.g. by those of the American Physical Society).
This concerns all viewers using poppler libraries, e.g. evince or Xournal. PDFs
are displayed well in other viewers which don't use poppler. Also it doesn't
concern all scanned documents.
