         And enclosed is a screen shot of my PDF 
Enhancer software that incorporates the 
Xpdf/Splash renderer (v. 3.00.20, I believe) for 
use in generating preview images.  You'll see 
that we're rendering it just fine - so perhaps 
this is one of the bugs that was fixed between 3.0 and 3.00.20.
