Hi,

i've the problem that some fonts in some documents are rendered rather
strange by poppler (vague, i known...).

For instance:
http://www.linux-usability.de/download/linux_usability_report.pdf
Page: 6

The headings "Ziele der Studie", "Testdesign", ... look strange.
I can't be a problem with missing fonts because they are all embedded:
frank at linux:~> pdffonts /tmp/Documents/linux_usability_report.pdf
name type emb sub uni object ID
------------------------------------ ------------ --- --- --- ---------
HGDNKM+DIN-Regular TrueType yes yes no 4878 0
HGDNLN+DIN-Medium TrueType yes yes no 4885 0
EQORYL+DIN-Medium TrueType yes yes no 4886 0
OEEIIJ+DIN-Regular TrueType yes yes no 534 0
OEELIP+TimesNewRoman TrueType yes yes no 533 0
OEEIIK+SymbolMT CID TrueType yes yes yes 538 0
OEFABA+DIN-Bold TrueType yes yes no 503 0
OEIBCA+DIN-Medium TrueType yes yes no 504 0
OELHKL+Arial,Bold TrueType yes yes no 505 0
OELHLH+Arial TrueType yes yes no 506 0

Acrobat displays them correctly.

Any ideas? Is this a problem with poppler or a borked fontconfig setup?

Regards,
   Frank
