Yes I will try to look at it. It seems to be a relevant feature for 
poppler based applications. Does anyone has a link to a good 
introduction to the layout of a PDF file ? This will help me to 
understand the poppler code. The Adobe PDF specifications are a bit hard 
to begin with !
