[poppler] too slow when opening PDF 1.5 files

Unless you are going to develop a fix, please file a bug report or this will
end up lost in the history of the list.
On the other hand i don't see why you are surprised, one file is compressed,
the other is not, thus reading the compressed file takes longer.
On the other hand probably it can be made faster, yes.
